Recruitment Process

Here's a step-by-step guide to Agenda's recruitment process so you know exactly what to expect.

  1. Here we are at the very beginning... you've looked through Agenda's job ads or seen a job on Agenda's facebook or twitter page that you like the sound of. You've applied for the role, we're pleased to hear it!
  2. One of our expert recruitment consultants will have a good look at your resume and cover letter to make sure you have the right skills and experience for the job. We'll then give you a call to discuss your application over the phone.
  3. The next step is an interview with an Agenda consultant. You'll be invited to our offices where you'll do a couple of standard tests to make sure you have the right computer and literacy skills for the job. It's also a good opportunity for you to ask your consultant any questions you have about the role. And don't worry, at Agenda our approach is a lot more personal than most of the other agencies you've been to, we're here to help you!
  4. The most important thing is that you're committed to the role so we ask if you're happy with everything that's outlined in the position description. If you're genuinely interested and our consultants believe you're suitable for the role, we'll pass your resume on to the employer to review.
  5. When the employer's happy, we'll arrange an interview between them and yourself. It's different with every role but please bear in mind that there may be two or three rounds of interviews before the employer makes a final decision.
  6. If everything goes well, it's time for our favourite part. Your Agenda consultant will call you to offer you the job! We'll help you with any salary questions. Then it's just a matter of signing the contracts and getting you ready to start your new job.

And of course we'll continue to check on you and provide you with ongoing support while you make the transition.
