Senior Accountant - Newly created role
- $90K to $95K plus Super
An exciting opportunity has been created for a Senior Accountant to join this well know established global brand based in the West. This organisation has a strong heritage of operations over many years and boasts a very stable and profitable business. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be accountable for providing financial and management accounting support for a number of the companies subsidiaries and also provide other various ad hoc support to finance generally. Some of your duties will include : - Preparation of Monthly Reports for Subsidiary Management
- Support for Subsidiary Management and Operations as necessary
- Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet in format required for production of consolidated results.
- Monthly GST Returns
- Completion of Annual Company Tax calculations and liaise with the external Accountants
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Process Improvement Maintaining internal controls
- Supervision of Accounts staff.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified Corporate/Financial Accountant to join a company thats offers a great culture. You will possess a strong technical background with a commercial outlook and a 'hands on' approach. Previous experience working with manufacturing listed companies will also be highly regarded, as will exposure to SAP.
